The Invesco ESG NASDAQ Next Gen 100 ETF is structured to mirror the performance of the Nasdaq Next Generation 100 ESG Index. This exchange-traded fund commits a minimum of 90% of its total capital to the securities comprising its benchmark index. The index itself is crafted to assess the returns of businesses from the Nasdaq Next Generation 100 Index that additionally satisfy specific environmental, social, and governance (ESG) criteria. To be eligible for inclusion based on these ESG standards, a company must abstain from involvement in particular business sectors, including, but not limited to, alcohol, cannabis, controversial weapons, gambling, military weaponry, nuclear power, oil and gas, and tobacco. Furthermore, constituents must comply with the principles of the United Nations Global Compact, meet defined requirements regarding business controversies, and attain an ESG Risk Rating Score sufficient for inclusion. Both the fund and its guiding index undergo rebalancing on a quarterly basis, specifically in March, June, September, and December.
