The FT Vest U.S. Equity Quarterly Max Buffer ETF is structured to offer investors returns that align with the price performance of the SPDR S&P 500 ETF (its "Underlying ETF"), before the Fund's own fees and expenses are considered. This objective applies up to a defined maximum gain. Concurrently, the Fund aims to provide the most extensive possible safeguard, before fees, against potential declines in the Underlying ETF's value over an approximate three-month duration, known as a "Target Outcome Period." Specifically, for the period spanning December 22, 2025, to March 20, 2026, the Fund is designed to absorb the initial 10.58% of any losses sustained by the Underlying ETF. During this particular cycle, any upside potential is capped at 3.00%. Once the Fund's internal fees and operational expenses are accounted for, the effective maximum gain investors can realize is 2.79%, while the protective buffer against losses becomes 10.37%.
